A gift in this world, so precious and rare,
Is the love a mother and daughter share.
Your loving smile, your heart of gold,
My memories of you mum, will never grow old.

Mum, it's two years today since you left us. There hasn't been a day when I haven't thought about you and wished I could still talk to you. I know you are resting in peace with your beloved parents and brothers and sisters.
I had a memorial stone made and placed on your resting place. It sits in front of the headstone marking the resting place of your mum and dad. It's a beautiful stone, I'm so very pleased with it.

If roses grow in heaven Lord,
please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day.
But there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

Mum, this will be our 2nd Christmas without you, and I still miss you so very much.
You loved this time of year, and I will always cherish those family Christmases when I was a child because you always made Christmas special for us. Happy memories of gran coming to stay with us.
