JoyASHWORTH (NEE RODGERS)Joy passed away peacefully in Overseal Care Home on Saturday 25 April 2026 at the age of 82.
She was the beloved widow of John Ashworth, much loved mother of Robert and Thomas, and a wonderful grandmother and auntie. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
The funeral service will be in the Willow Room at Bretby Crematorium on Tuesday 26th May at 13:45. If you wish to attend, please wear colourful clothes to match Joy's bright personality.
Donations at the service will benefit Treetops Hospice, an organisation that provides end of life nursing care in the local area. We request family flowers only please.
Refreshments will be provided after the service at the Stanhope Arms to celebrate Joy's life.
