OliveASHWORTHMrs Olive Ashworth, of Turfcote Nursing Home, Helmshore, died at home on Saturday, April 10, aged 91. Olive was a housewife, and enjoyed dressmaking, golf, watching sport, reading, holidays, and loved spending time with family. She was a member of Rossendale Golf Club. Devoted wife of the late Geoffrey, and adored mother and grandmother, she leaves daughters Geraldine and Diane, son-in-law David, grandchildren Emma, Richard, Rachael, Louise, and partners Lee, Hazel, Damian, and JonPaul, and great-grandchildren James, Daniel, Jacob, Benjamin, Hollie, Joshua, Hannah, and Zach. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 23, at 12.15pm at Burnley Crematorium. Family flowers only please; donations if desired to Cancer Research UK.
