DavidASHWORTHof Burnley Road, Loveclough passed away at Blackburn General Hospital on September 26, aged 70 years.

David was a joiner by trade and retired from Tudor Rose. He enjoyed photography, birds and wildlife, music and playing the guitar. Partner to the late Vanessa Heyslop and brother to the late Pauline. David leaves behind his children Mark, Kathryn and Sean Ashworth, mum Olive, brother-in-law Michael, niece Jemma and nephew Kieran.

A funeral will be held on October 10 at St James the Less Church, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, Rossendale, BB4 8HH, conducted by Father Stamp at 2pm. This will then be followed by a cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 3.15pm.

Family flowers only, donations welcome to Rossendale Hospice. Donations can be made online by visiting www. fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Service.
