DorothyASPINof St Lawrence Street, Great Harwood, passed away peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday, December 31, aged 86. Dorothy worked as an engineering typist at English Electric and GEC in Clayton-le-Moors. She loved holidays in Eastbourne, Bournemouth and Blackpool. She enjoyed being with her family, reading and had an interest in the Royal Family. Wife of Edward, she leaves son Stephen and daughter-in-law Dianne, and son Peter and partner Janies, and grandson Gavin and his fiancee Helen. The funeral was held on Monday, January 13, at Accrington Crematorium, led by civil celebrant Angela Riding. Donations if desired to East Lancashire Hospice.
