GeorgeASPINALLPeacefully in the Freeman Hospital after a long illness on 17th October aged 66 years, George, dearly loved husband of Rosalind, a much loved dad of Alex, Grace, Lana and their partners, a dear grandad of Leo, Ella and Abigail, a loving son of Mary and a dearest brother of John, Paul, James, Peter, Ann and their families. Service and Cremation at the West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Thursday November 3rd at 1.30pm. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. All welcome to the Jingling Gate Pub, Westerhope following the funeral service. I've known George my entire life and never heard a single bad word said about him, that would be a rarity in any life, for an Aspinall is it a miracle. He was a funny, lovely and almost permanently chilled presence and the quiet bravery he has shown over the last four years was genuinely inspirational. Rest well.
