Prof Asscher was my mother's physician & my medical tutor, a superb teacher nurturing me through Finals, which could easily have gone badly without him.
I'm retired now after a career which I owe to Bill Asscher in large measure & he has my eternal gratitude.
BTW my first ever vote in a general election was for one Jennifer Lloyd.
Condolences to you all.

From Elizabeth (Asscher) Anolick

Dear Jane and Sophie, I was so very sorry to hear of your fathers death, he was my closest cousin, we played together before the war when my mother died, and we had such fun together when we were teenagers and he had just arrived from Holland after the war. We kept in touch through the years and we saw him twice in the US where we still live. Lots of wonderful memories that I will always treasure. We are only sorry that we cannot be with you on August 12 th . Just know that we are thinking of you al during this sad time.Elizabeth (Asscher)and Cas Anolick .
