AlanASTBURYBeloved Dad, Grandad passed away peacefully in Stafford Hospital on January 1st, aged 72. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Bushbury Crematorium on Friday, 16th January, 4.00pm. Family flowers only, donations for Ward 11, Stafford Hospital. DAD As I stood at your bedside, watching you slip away, I held your hand and stroked your head, not knowing what to say, through tears I watched you weakening and slowly fade away, I didn't want you to wake and suffer another day. As you walk through the gates of Heaven I know you won't be alone, because Mom will be waiting to welcome you home. Never be forgotten. Daughter Lynn, Richard and Dottie. DAD GRANDAD We sat beside your bedside and prayed to God above, we held your hand with tenderness and gave you all our love. Through tears we saw you weakening and slowly fade away, although our hearts were breaking, we know you couldn't stay. Reunited with Mom. Miss you and love you, will never be forgotten. Daughter Yvonne and Garry, Mark, Gemma, Jakob and Leanne. DAD GRANDAD I stroked your brow with tenderness, I held your hand with pride, I knew it was your time to go, I had to step aside. You were so very brave at the end Dad, you didn't make any fuss, you tried your very hardest to stay with all of us. Quietly in that early morn you heard the Lord's gentle call, you then so sadly lost your fight and let Mom lead you into the light. Always in our hearts. Son Stephen, Julie and Katie. DAD My loving Dad is now at rest, for me he did his best, no farewells were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before I new it but you are loved and remembered everyday. God Bless you Dad, love you always. Son David and Karen & family
