Geoff as best man at our wedding 35 years ago

I first met Geoff over 40 years ago and we became best friends, over the years we didn't see each other very often but when we did meet up we always talked about the good old days.
He was also my best man at our wedding 35 years ago, but the one memory that always sticks in my mind and makes me laugh, I was flying back to Heathrow many years ago, when I come through arrivals there was my wife Christine 8 months pregnant Julie 8 months pregnant with Laura and Geoff standing between them, he was getting some funny looks,
The last time I seen Geoff which was a few weeks before he passed away, we were making plans that when I got back from overseas we would take out his new car for a run.
Unfortunately I Travelled on the 5th May getting back on the 26th May totally unaware that my friend had passed away, I have been going to the house to see him this last few weeks and was getting concerned that he wasn't there then today I realised that he had in fact passed away.
I will always Remember Geoff as he was such a diamond, my wife and I feel terrible that we weren't there to say goodbye to our Friend but we will never forget him.
