Elsie What a Marvellous Lady!
Such a great sense of humour and lovely laughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and our heart goes out to them. A childhood friend of Muriel Dodds nee Challoner, they got up to all sorts together - from Sunday School with Dorothy, then off collecting glass Boodies at the old glassworks at Dunston to their first dances at the Oxford!
They both worked together at the Electricity board in the centre of Newcastle in 1948 for a couple of years before they both got married and had children. I only got to know Elsie a little by getting these great friends together, they told some stories and had great times.
All our love to the family as we know she will be a great miss.
I feel honoured to have the pleasure of her company Tracy & Trevor Dodds x
