GaryATHERTON(Wallsend) Tragically on 23rd May 2019 in Holland aged 50 years. Much loved and adored son of Linda and the late Tommy, much loved dad of Josh, partner of Susan, brother of Craig and brother in law of Mandy, dear uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Will be sadly missed by all. Sleep well our love. Friends please meet at Tynemouth Crematorium for funeral service on Thursday 13th June at 2.15pm. By request family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. All welcome back to The Westholme Farm Social Club. R.I.P.

Gary I remember the days we had at close house. 18 holes then 18 pints. Always loved you for looking after Dad and always thought the world of you. Glad I got to see you a couple months before. Absolute gentleman and scream to be around. Love you loads mate, Josh will be so proud to know his Dad was a legend xxx

Known Gary since I was a young lad, cut my hair since I was about 5. Always loved talking to him about the football and him laughing at me turning up at his shop hungover. Gan canny bonny lad x
