JeanATKIN/PRESTONaged 91 years, passed away peacefully on April 7 with her family around her at Woodside Care Home, Padiham.
Jean was the mother to Ann, Pearl and Kenneth and also a grandmother, great grandmother
and great, great grandmother.
She was born and raised in Lumb/Water where she lived most of her life.
She started her working life in the cotton mills before moving on to be a machinist in the slipper industry.
She ended her working life retiring from Spencers slippers, Stacksteads.
Jean enjoyed holidays, especially in Scotland, also going abroad with her family and friends.
Jean's funeral will take place at Lumb Baptist Church on April 29 at 1.45pm,
where she was a member, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium.
