As kids growing up, Elwyn was the perfect uncle. Warm, kind, thoughtful, intelligent - and really quite silly! Elwyn was the funny one. Always up to something. He was sharp, quick, dry and unassuming. Never showy. A mischief maker who would light up the room or the occasion by just being there.

A family beacon has gone out.

We’re saddened and shocked.

We’ll miss you Uncle Elwyn!!

Very sad to hear of Elwyn’s passing. Such a wonderful, witty, intelligent and charming person who I had the pleasure to work with. A great family man and friend to many. God speed Elwyn.

I was lucky to have Elwyn as a mentor at Glanbia where we had adventures working on projects together in California, Germany annd Idaho. He was a great project manager from whom I learned many invaluable lessons and no matter how hard the work was or how dire the situation, Elwyn would always have a joke to keep everyone going. I enjoyed staying in touch over the years and he will be very much missed. This photo was in Exeter the last time we caught up for tea and scones at Donna and Elwyn’s home. My deepest sympathies to Donna and all the family
