IanATKINSON(Formerly of Gosforth). Peacefully on 27th November 2016 in the Palliative Care Unit at Wansbeck General with his family by his side aged 66 years, Ian. Beloved husband of Sue, dad of Jenny and John, dad-in-law of Ben and Jo, brother to Philip and granda to Jack, Tilly, Henry and Isaac. Will be sadly missed by all family, friends and Holly the Westie. Ian formerly worked for NHS England Public Health. Funeral Service to be held in St Aidens R.C Church, Ashington on Friday 9th December at 2:15pm, followed by cremation at Cowpen Crematorium at 3:15pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to be split between The Palliative Care Unit at Wansbeck General, the Macmillan Service, Cancer Research and St Oswald's Hospice.
