Elizabeth (Betty)ATKINSON(née Laws) (Jesmond, formerly Shiremoor) Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday 28th February 2023, aged 93 years. Betty, beloved wife of the late Roland, loving mam of David, Colin and Cheryl, and a dear mother in law of Terry, Mary and Ray, loving sister of Grace, Dennis and the late Hannah, Alice, Stan, John and David, and a dear auntie to many nephews and nieces. Would family and friends please meet at The West Road Crematorium on Friday 24th March at 1:30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to British Heart Foundation. Afterwards all welcome back to The Benwell Hill Cricket Club. W.S. Harrison & Son, Shields Road, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 2UD. Tel 0191 2655415.
