John PeterATTERBURYAged 63 died peacefully with family at his bedside on 3rd January after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born in Aston on the 29th August 1959 to Audrey and Peter Atterbury and was the eldest of 5 siblings: Joanne, Lee, Michael and Jacqueline. John is at peace with Peter and Joanne and is survived by Audrey, Lee, Michael and Jacqueline. John is also survived by his 2 loving children Stacey and Craig; his partner Elaine and her children Michelle and Claire; as well as 6 Grandchildren: Catherine, Conor, Alex, Evie, Oliver and Emelia. Besides spending time with his family and friends John had a passion for football and was a season ticket holder at Aston Villa. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Aston Parish Church on the 8th February at 11am and his hearse will pass his much loved football club on route to his burial at Oscott Cemetery. A wake will be held at The Aston Inn (formerly known as the Aston Social) from 1pm. John touched a great many lives and those who loved him are welcome to join the family in saying their final farewell.
