GillianAUSTINPeacefully at home on 18th June 2020. Gillian beloved mother of Dawn and Nicholas, special stepmother of Michelle, James, Daniel and Benjamin, adored Nanny Gill to all her grandchildren. Cherished wife of the late Colin. "A light has gone out in all of our lives" Funeral Tuesday 7th July, leaving from her house at 10.30am for cremation at Swansea Crematorium at 11.00am. Due to current circumstances, strictly family only. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Gillian may be made payable directly to Cancer Research UK. Gillian, if you are the pen-friend Gillian of my youth, I am so very, very sorry that I found you only now. One name in your obituary makes me think that it is you.
Then I was in Austria, now I am in Canada and fondly I remember the many letters and a little piece of wedding cake you sent me when one of your cousins married.
If it was you, thank you for having brought joy to my life during a very difficult time.
May you rest in peace.
