Beloved wife of the late James Bailey passed away peacefully with her daughter Jennifer by her side at Southmead Hospital on 24th September 2023 aged 88 years.
Mother to 8 children, with 17 grandchildren and also 11 great-grandchildren she will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at St Agnes Church on Friday 10th November 2023 commencing at 10:30am followed by burial at Filton Cemetery.
Then a Celebration of the Life of Lurline Bailey, at the Rose Green Centre.
Lurline is much loved, and known for her no-nonsense and tell you as it is attitude and will always be known as a Legend and be forever remembered among the Caribbean and communities wherever she had lived in Bristol, Gloucester and Jamaica as well as many other places globally.
