My beautiful, lifelong friend, Dawn. I am so distressed to have found this information on your passing. I had just come off the phone to try and arrange a care home visit. My SOLE reason for not visiting you for the past 5 years has been due to my own terminal cancer diagnosis and total loss of all immunity forcing me to become housebound. I so much wanted to be brave and come and see you this week. Please - Graham, Kay, Gemma and Gareth - know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers - as is my dear friend, Dawn, who I have known since I was 16 years old and we worked together.
