GeoffreyBAKERMR Geoffrey Baker, of Rawtenstall, passed away in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, January 7, aged 82. He served for 14 years in the RAF, meeting his beloved wife Rita in Manchester, and moving to Rawtenstall in 1971 where they raised their family. A retired IT Consultant for ICL, he enjoyed playing golf and watching football, especially Manchester United, of which he was a great supporter. He leaves behind his wife Rita, children Gary and Janet, son-in-law Jack and daughter-inlaw Joanne, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of which he adored. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The funeral service & committal will take place on Tuesday, January 26, at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium.
