JohnBALAYOf your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of John aged 94 years of Leek who departed this life peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Friday 29th September at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Dearly loved husband of Kath, loving pops of Janet & Terry, Gary & Lesley, dearly loved grandad and great-grandad, sadly missed by Felicie. John will be very sadly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Fortified with the rites of the Holy Catholic Church on whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy R.I.P.
Reception into St. Mary's R.C. Church Leek on Sunday 29th October at 5.00pm. A Requiem Mass to be held on Monday 30th October at 10.00am followed by interment at Leek Cemetery.
No flowers please by John's own request. Donations may be sent to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Mill Hill Missionaries. Mourning attire optional.

Fond memories of a really good man.
I worked for Mr Balay back in the 70s and will always remember him for helping me in my career. Rest in peace Sir.
