BOD was one of the most caring and kindest friend. We was happy. To have known. For 37 years. Was very sad and shocked to here he passed away suddenly. It has literally cut me and Steve up. We always stayed in touch every other week. And to get the phone call has gutted us deeply. Steve had Bod always had a Sport mans bet on the Manchester United and City Matches especially the Manchester Derby days. Bod being a RED fan and Steve being a BLUE fan. The arguements you had over the bets was hilarious. You have been like a brother to steve.
Laugh I remember when we was in our teens and we all got in our cars a load of us and drove to Blackpool and went on the fun fair you fell in the Log Flumes that was hilarious and then went to the pubs at the night time. And then sleep in our cars on the carparks. Lol them was the days. I also remember another time when we gave your grandad Albert the heads up when he was having his birthday party that he was having a stripper gram. So he put his special boxer shorts on for her and flew the flag lol. My god he was prepared that night for the girl. Think she was more shocked. He just stood there and pulled his pants down to his ankles and was smiling so funny. You never got to have kids so we asked you to be a Godfather to Our Steve and your face was made up proud as punch you said yes. You was always with little steve when he was a kid. Spending load of times doing the house up with Big Steve and yourself and little steve went ever where together. Well suppose you could have called yourself a Grandad now as little steve has had a little Boy now on called Vito Corleone who is only 17months old. Well BOD your back with your Mum and Your Gran and Grandad. We will drape a UNITED flag over your coffin on Monday (5/11/18) Bonfire night will be extra especial to my family from now on. Because we will be lighting a Candle and fireworks to remember our treasured memories we have shared. Miss you Bod sleep tight Tracey Genovese. Xxxx
