LucianaBALLMRS Luciana Ball, of Hardman Avenue, Hall Carr, Rawtenstall, passed away at Abbeycroft Care Home in Loveclough on Saturday, April 18, aged 89. Luciana was a slipper operative at Greenbridge Slipper Works, Rawtenstall. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to local bingo halls, watching TV and keeping up with all soaps and loved quiz programmes. Wife of the late Hughie and mother to Patricia, Peter and Brian, Luciana had 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. The private funeral took place in Burnley on Thursday, April 30 at 2pm, conducted by Fr. A McBride. Donations, if desired to Cancer UK or Rossendale Hospice.
