AnnieBALLANTYNEBALLANTYNE Peacefully, after a long illness, on 26th August, 2008, at Wishaw General Hospital ANNIE MOORE (Shaw), aged 72 years. In tears I watched you sinking, I watched you fade away, My heart was almost broken, You fought so hard to stay, I sat beside your bedside, I held your hand in mine, I watched, I waited, I hoped in vain, That God would make you well again. Love you always. - Adam x. Lord put your arms around her, And keep her in your care, Make up for all she suffered, And all that was unfair, May she always walk in sunshine, And God's love around her flow, Of the happiness she gave us, No one will ever know. - Betty, John, Henry, Geraldine, Robina, Tom, David, Yvonne, Carol, Colin, Richard and Ellie. Behind our smiles, There's a million tears, For the Gran we lost, And loved so dear, Our hearts still ache, As we whisper low, "God Bless you Gran, We miss you so". - Gillian, Claire, Leigh-Ann, Kim, Laura, Lindsey and Kirsty. The family would like to thank family and friends, Father Irons, Dorricott Funeral Services and especially staff of Ward 12 and Oncology Unit at Wishaw General Hospital. Thanks also to staff of Avonhaugh Nursing Home, Doctor Russell and his staff, Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses, The Haven Centre and all Carers. Donations to Cancer Charities can be made through the family.
