DavidBANKS(Cornhill on Tweed) Died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of 22nd February 2022 aged 74 years. He was a Journalist who after working on the Newcastle Journal in the 1960s went on to edit newspapers in London, New York and Sydney. He retired to Northumberland which he learned to love during happy childhood holidays with his grandparents who were local farmers. He was a passionate family man and is mourned by his wife Jemma, children Tash and Tim and grandchildren Logan, Tyga and Xander. His funeral service will be held at St Michael and All Angels, Ford at 2.00pm on Monday 7th March. Family flowers only. Donations to the Macmillan Centre at Borders General Hospital.
