Ray and I started school on the same day aged 5 and became best mates until we went our separate ways aged 11. We stayed in touch for many years, and Ray taught piano to my eldest daughter when he lived in Broadstairs. For some unknown reason he was a Stoke City supporter...one of lifes mysteries!
I was so shocked to hear of Rays passing, and can only say that he was always a good man and friend.

Ray , I’ve just found out you have gone . So sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye . You were such a good friend over many years and I often think about you . We had lots of laughs and I was privileged to hear you play and even turn the pages for you 40 odd years ago ! Rest in Peace . All my love Janice
