Although only known to us for a short time, you have left ever lasting memories.

Ben was a man of great character. His wonderful artistic talent and teaching skills brought so much to many throughout his life. And during these last difficult years with MND he showed such remarkable stoicism & fortitude. But my lasting memories of Ben will be as children together when our family would come down from Essex for our annual summer holidays. I was reminded of this during a recent visit when at lunch overlooking Swanpool beach. We were watching youngsters canoeing & sailing in the bay on hot sunny day. Ben & I used to Kayak around the headland there as teenagers. He taught me to do my first Eskimo Roll there. We chatted about this when I saw him a couple of days later and we laughed about it. Happy Days.
Rest in peace Ben.
Love Colin & Thea
