AudreyBARKERSadly, in her 88th year Audrey passed away at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on June 7. She leaves Gordon, her devoted husband of 66 years. She was a much-loved mum to Susan, the late Elaine and son in law Craig. She was a cherished grandma to Kelly, Samantha, David, Emily, Zoe, Sofie and great grandma to Matthew, Curtis, Ted, Phoebe, Theo, Elaina, Tilly, and the late Ellis. She was the sister to the late Kenneth, Vera and Marion. She had various jobs throughout her lifetime, starting as a bookkeeper and prior to retiring as a clerical officer at the Inland Revenue. She loved her family and adored spending time with them, enjoying family holidays and days out. She enjoyed afternoon tea and particularly enjoyed a variety of desserts. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, always in our hearts. There will be a celebration of her life at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, June 28 at 11am. Family flowers only please, with optional donations to any charity.
