JohnBARKERPeacefully at rest in the presence of his loving family, on Thursday 10th October 2024 at his home.
John aged 81 years of Cheadle, formerly of Bucknall.

Devoted Husband of Rita, loving Dad of Janice and Neil, a dear Father in law of Paul and Claire, proud Grandad of Esme, Josh, Emily and Charlotte, treasured Great Grandpa of Lucy-May, Poppy, Freddie and Florence and a cherished Brother.

John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

“In the end it’s not the years in your life that count; it’s the life in your years”

Funeral service and interment to take place at St. Chad’s Church, Freehay on Thursday 24th October at 11am.

Will all relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the care of the Midlands Air Ambulance.

It’s been a year already since you left us dad. I think of you everyday and know you’re looking out for us all and are resting in peace, as you deserve. I’m sorry that you aren’t here to see Freddie grow but I know you’ll be watching over him. Love you always. Your little girl 😘

John you might have dropped me on my head, took the skin off my ankle with the spokes of your bike and chipped my tooth lifting me on a wall but you were the best brother anyone could wish for, giving up time with your mates to take your little sister to the cinema and taught me to bowl. I'll never forget you, love you always and I'll come and annoy you again some day. Love for ever Anita.
