John RichardBARKERJohn of Mickleover, Derby passed away on Ward 404 at the Royal Derby Hospital on 1st May 2025 aged 83 years.

Beloved Husband of Barbara and the late June. Greatly missed by his children John and Karen and step children Suzanne and Paul. Loving Brother of Frank and the late Nigel. Dearest Father in Law to Carrie, Steve, Stuart and Laura. He will be fondly missed by his Brother and Sister in Laws and Nieces and Nephews. A very proud Grandad to Ellie, Max, Libby, Tilly, Charlie, Daisy, Edward and Sophie and proud of his Great Grandson Marley. John lived a full and active life playing football (Derby County Books), being a member of the 150th Cub Scouts and singing with the Good Companions Musical Society.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held on Friday 6th June at 11.30am Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent, DE72 2AF.

All friends are welcome to join in celebrating his life.

Family flowers only please but a donation in lieu can be made to Parkinson's UK or Ward 404 at the Royal Derby Hospital online or via the donation box on the day of the service.
