Ruth MarieBARLOW02/04/1952-20/07/2022 It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the very sad & unexpected news of the passing of Ruth Barlow (nee Perkins), also fondly known as Polly, aged 70 years. Ruth passed away peacefully at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital surrounded by her family on Wednesday 20/07/2022 Beloved wife of David, much loved mum of Kate, Sister to Paula & June, Step mother to Fiona, Grandmother to Ethan and a very well loved, Aunt, Great Aunt, Mother-in-law, Cousin & friend. Ruth was very much loved by all that knew her as a lovely, kind & compassionate lady. She will forever be missed by all, including all of her colleagues from the RD&E where she had a long career as a registered theatre Nurse. The family would like to extend their particular thanks to the Intensive Care Unit at the RD&E. Her wishes were to have a direct cremation with no funeral, but a memorial service celebrating her life will be held in due course.
