MollyBARNESMDied peacefully on Monday, November 18, two days after her 103rd birthday, at Abbeycroft Care Home, Loveclough. Subsequent to her express wishes, her body has been taken to Liverpool University Medical School where she now rests. Her surviving relatives and friends offer sincere thanks to the staff of Abbeycroft and also The Lindens Care Homes for their dedicated attention to her needs and care in the final months of her long life. A gathering to celebrate her life will take place in the new year. Donations in her memory to Cancer Research UK, a charity close to her heart.
