DorisBARNES(née Haworth) of Raven Park, Haslingden, died on Friday, November 29, at Pendleside Hospice, aged 94. Doris worked as a weaver at Acre Mill, Porritt and Spencer, and Albert Mill, from where she finished work to take care of her family. She was a former member of Haslingden Methodist Church. Wife of the late John, she leaves her son Stephen, (former Chief Ex of Pendle) daughter-inlaw Elaine, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, together with brother Ronnie. Her funeral took place at 11am on Tuesday, December 10, with service and cremation at Accrington Crematorium officiated by Rev Louise Makin.
