TonyBARNESMR Tony Barnes, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 5, aged 75. Upon leaving school he learnt his trade as an electrician, working at local firms, moving on to become an industrial electrician for WH Goods, Haslingden. In his younger days he was a keen boxer, representing Haslingden Police. Tony enjoyed playing golf at Green Haworth and Baxenden golf clubs, playing every morning in his retirement. He leaves behind his partner of many years Christine, three brothers, two sisters and their partners, nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends. The funeral service and committal will take place on Monday, January 25, at 2.20pm at Accrington Crematorium.
