Roy David & Anne JosephineBARNESIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy David & Anne Josephine Barnes (fondly known as 'Josie'), beloved husband and wife. Together throughout life, they will be forever remembered and sadly missed by their family and friends.

Josie sadly passed away on 22nd October 2026 (aged 80 years) at University Hospital, Coventry and Roy passed away on 23rd October 2026 (aged 83 years) at The Haven Nursing Home in Coventry. They are now reunited in peace.

Mr & Mrs Barnes' Memorial Service, celebration of life, will take place at St Marks' Church, Bilton, Rugby CV22 7LX on Thursday 26th November 2026 at 10.00am.

It's been a whirlwind of emotions this last few weeks. You were both so loved and will be missed. You both loved each other so much that I believe you just didn't want to be parted. It's a love story that will keep on going. We will learn to live without you and just be comforted by the knowledge that we had you in our lives. You're both at peace now. X
