JohnBARRACLOUGHIt is with deep sadness that the family share the passing of John Barraclough on the 16th of April 2026, in the care of Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Husband of the late Barbara for 62 years, and without whom life has not been complete. Dearly loved Dad of Jane and Linda and much respected father-in-law of Geoff and the late Barry, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John, formerly of Flixborough, had spent the last 9 months in the loving care of Balmoral House.

Would friends and family please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Wednesday the 6th of May 2026 at 10:40am for service and committal.

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully received for "Lindsey Lodge Hospice" c/o

My sincere condolences go out to the family. John and his family were part of my childhood and into my adulthood, knowing them all was a privilege. John was kind and his dry sense of humour was brilliant! My love and thoughts go out to his family x
