John GeorgeBARRETTIt is with great sadness we announce, that after a courageous battle, with his family by his side, that John aged 74 years, sadly passed away at home on 20th December 2023.
A beloved husband of 54 years to Betty, a loving dad to Glen, Phil and the late Jon and James, an adored father-in-law to Lisa, Rachel and Emma, a proud grandad to Josh, Ellisha, Amelia, Alexander, Elliott, Libby, Oliver, George and Louis, a great grandad to Elijah, a dear brother to Michael, Stephen, Brian and Sally, John will also be missed by all his family and many friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium, on Friday 5th January 2024, at 3.45pm.
No flowers on John's request, but donations in his memory can be made to Macmillan Nurses c/o St Andrews Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP. A donation box will be available on the day.
