AlanBARRETTof Cromer, Norfolk formerly of Accrington, peacefully passed away on November 16th 2024 aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Jenny, loving dad of Simon (dec) and James. A much loved father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service at Cromer Crematorium on Monday, 16th December at 11.00 am. Alan was my first manager when I became an officer in the RAF and were stationed at RAF Coningsby around 1990. Shortly after taking post my mother died suddenly. I've never forgotten how kind Al was to me, his choice of words seemed perfect. Later when faced with similar circumstances in supporting others, I always thought of Alan. That's a legacy I've had for 30 plus years. Moly McMillan
