Maureen MaryBARRETTIt is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Maureen, a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Beloved wife of David, a wonderful Mum to Will and Kath and mother-in-law to James and Kelly, and the best Grandma to Edward, Andrew, Evie and Martha, Maureen was the heart of her family. She adored them all and took immense joy in watching them grow, always putting their happiness and wellbeing before her own. She will be deeply missed by her family, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Maureen was a kind, caring and compassionate person whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her selfless nature, and genuine concern for others, were among the many qualities that made her so loved. She was always ready to offer a helping hand, a listening ear or a word of encouragement, and her absence will be felt by so many.
Maureen shared a deep and wonderful relationship with God, and her Christian faith was of the utmost importance to her. It brought her great comfort and guided her throughout her life. Although her family are heartbroken by her passing, and will grieve her loss deeply, they find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, welcomed into Heaven and reunited with the Lord she loved so dearly.
Maureen leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love, kindness and faith. She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
Maureen's funeral service will take place at St. Michael's Church, Chester, at 11:00. All are welcome. You are warmly invited to join the family at Upton Golf Club, following the service, to share your favourite memories over some light refreshments.
