LindaBARRSIt is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Linda, who sadly passed away on 25th August 2026 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Linda aged 77 years, of Meir. Beloved daughter of the late Maria and Thomas Henry Rix. A devoted wife to her late husband Arthur, Linda is now peacefully reunited with him, safe in his loving arms in Heaven. A much-loved mum to Robert, Lyvonne, Steven and Liam, Step-mum to Christopher, and treasured mother to baby Rix, loved mother in law to Gemma and Nikki. A cherished grandmother to Lily, Jack, Harry, Rosie, Charlie, Daisy and Tommy. Beloved sister to Eric. Linda was the kindest and most loving person, deeply loved by her family, friends and Church family. She will be sadly missed but forever remembered by everyone who knew and loved her.
The funeral service will take place on Monday 21st September at 10:30am at Meir Holy Trinity Church. The cremation will follow at 12pm at Bradwell, followed by the wake at Weston Coyney Private Club.
Floral tributes are welcomed or if preferred, donations may be made to Meir Holy Trinity Church.
