STEVIE B, No words can say or express the feeling I have of great sadness of your passing mate. I can still remember the day when we both stood on the playground, way back when we were introduced to Mrs Millhusan, she was our 1st ever teacher and even then you had a charismatic swagger and a smile that would literally light up a room, you were her favourite “Teachers pet” (Milk monitor) then you would often joke and remind me, “Im older than you” Yeah by 12 Days!
We spent 12 years going through school together, I spent a lot of time in your house in Vachell road in Ely, as you did in mine. and like most people as we grew older we moved on, but mate you were always the Ladies Man … (That smile again)
I can remember like it was yesterday, the day I joined the Battalion in Aldershot, on my first visit to the cookhouse who did I see, well more like hear! was STEVIE B! Wow, what a fantastic day that was, I couldn’t believe I was sat in a cookhouse, in Aldershot speaking to one of my lifelong friends.
Stephen, I’m so, so saddened at your passing mate.
I hope the angels of the four quarters, give you perfect peace and guide you to eternal happiness. I’ll definitely meet you at the great Re-Org in heaven, keep me a place buddy…
