I remember Miss Bartram well. she was my form mistress in 1958 as well as my teacher for maths and geography. Accompanied many on a school trip to Switzerland, she took us to church whilst there. Rest in peace and rise in glory Miss Bartram. Remembered by all my class mates at Stainsby Girls 1957/62

Joy Bartram taught me maths from 1965-1970. She was inspirational. My love of maths is a result of her excellent teaching. I respected her enormously. I wish that I had told her that she was my role model…… I went in to become a teacher and headteacher. I owe her a great deal. I have never forgotten her and without doubt, my best teacher.
