John 'Robert'BASSBASS John 'Robert' A much loved husband to Pat, Dad to Tom and Jo, and grandad to Katie, Lucy, Molly, Ben and Robbie. Thoroughly enjoyed his career in journalism until retirement at The Birmingham Post and Mail. Had many hobbies including golf, badminton, bowls and bridge. Service to be held at Robin Hood Crematorium on Thursday 17th August at 10:30am followed by a celebration of his life at Solihull Indoor Bowls Club. Family flowers only and donations kindly received to Acorns Children's Hospice. Solihull

I have only just (11 May) discovered that cousin Robert died at the end of July. I have tried over the months to 'phone and recently wrote a letter but found his obituary on the internet.
