JohnBATES(Gosforth) Peacefully at St Oswald's Hospice on 30th January 2023. John beloved Husband of Maureen, loved Father of Neil and Andrew and a loving Grandfather of Jack and Sam. Private Service and Cremation. A celebration of John's life will take place at Newcastle Falcons on Monday 20th February at 2.30 pm. No flowers by request but donations in lieu of flowers to St Oswald's Hospice. c/o Dodd's of Hexham NE46 2EW.

In memory of a wonderful man who gave so much to life, leaving fond thoughts of his times at Gosforth, secondary modern school, and Gosforth middle school with our father Jim Ryan, and also the happiness For life, he radiated to everybody in his presence, Monica and Jim Ryan
