FrankBATHERBATHER - FRANK, 11-03-1956-26-02-2021. Aged 64 years. After a short illness Frank sadly passed away at home in Bebington. Frank fought hard but was sadly taken away from us with his wife Liz and his children by his side. Frank was the kindest, most genuine person. "Top Boss, Top Bloke" to his staff at the family business Frank Bather's Tyres, run by 3 generations of Frank's coming up to nearly 100 years in business. Everyone who came across Frank, both personally and in business, knew that he was a unique and a very special, kind person. He was a much loved Father to Thomas, Amy and Laurence, a brother to El, and the son of deceased Frank and Freda and Grandson of Frank and Elsie. A Grandfather to Thomas' and Ann's children Tabitha, Mya and Sean. He also had a special relationship with in-law's Stuart, Sue and Dave and also a much loved Uncle. Importantly the husband of Liz, a truly unique special relationship, the best of friends, unconditional love. So many plans for the future taken way from them both after almost 30 years together. A tragedy that such a wonderful person has been taken from us all much too soon. Frank will be sadly missed, he has gone but he will never ever be forgotten. Details of Frank's funeral to follow. All enquiries to Charles Stephens Rock Ferry T: 0151 645 4396 A memorial service will be planned for the future at St. Andrews Church Bebington when Covid restrictions are lifted to enable all his loved ones, friends, colleagues and his loyal and valued customers to pay their respects.

I have been going the Bathers Tyres for over 30 years. Frank was always friendly and helpful and I always knew it was a place where I would get good and honest service. That so many who work there have been there for many years is surely a tribute to him.

We are so sorry to hear the sad news of Frank. He was very much a gentleman.
Bathers have looked after all our cars for many generations.
He appreciated his hard working team and in return they truly respected him.
A great service to Birkenhead and further a field.

Frank was such a special, kind, hardworking man. There are very few people in this life with integrity but Frank had it in abundance! A gentleman who always shared wise words and funny stories. A loving Uncle and special Brother in law, we feel very honoured to have known him. Condolences to all the family.
God Bless x

I am very lucky to have such a warm, caring, witty and thoughtful Father-in-law. From the first time I met Frank he welcomed me into the family. He will always be remembered very fondly as a supportive Father-in-law and a deeply caring Grandfather. My deepest thoughts and prayers to his amazing wife Liz, who was a rock of strength to Frank and the family during his illness. Also to his children and family during this difficult period. Lots of Love Anne

Frank you where my brother in law a very special person, always had a story to tell and always so interesting, genuine and reliable and was a fabulous listener, Frank was always there willing to help especially with family matters with advice and expertise and gave praise when you got things right, always said it “how it was” normally he was always right. Will miss the talks and laughter either in Frank and Liz’s house or in Spain with a glass of something in hand! Memories will always be there, he was and always will be a kind gentleman in every way. You will be in our hearts forever and remembered with love. - From Sue and Dave xx
