I am so sorry to hear about Roy. I live in the states and Roy and I exchanged correspondence about the lineage of the Battelle family and he sent me volumes of notes about his aunt’s research in this regard. When I arrived last week in London on a trip with my wife, I went to look up Roy. This is when I discovered that I just missed him.
I never met Roy in person, but we did exchange many emails several years ago. So long Roy. Sorry we missed each other. R.I.P. my friend.
