RobertBAVEYPassed away peacefully in Addenbrookes Hospital on 14th July 2021 at the grand age of 96 years. Much loved family member and friend. The Humanist Funeral Service will take place on Thursday 29th July at Cambridge Crematorium East Chapel at 2.30 p.m. Dark clothing not required. Family flowers only. In Bob's memory donations may be made on the day to the RAF Benevolent Fund or by posting to Co-op Funeralcare 34 James Street Cambridge CB1 1HX

Dear Uncle Bob or ‘Grandad Bob’ as my 4 year old granddaughter called him. He stayed with us Christmas 2019 and charmed everyone. His amazing memory of WW11 enthralled my husband, my girls and their partners and he was always gracious, affable and kind. We were so looking forward to seeing him again after Covid. A true gentleman, who’ll be sadly missed by all who met him. R.I.P. lovely man xx
