Margaret EdithBAXTER(Née Hewison) Died peacefully at RAH Paisley on 31st January 2022. Beloved mother of Valerie, Stewart, Jim and Andrew and step-daughter Lorraine, mother-in-law to Alex, Joan Hefina and Lesley, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lifetime friend to Jean Andrews, her daughter Fiona and family. Friend to many. Will be missed greatly. Thanks to Anchor Mill Medical Centre, Roberts Care Service, Wards 6 and 3 RAH for kind, caring support of mum during her long illness. Funeral service will be held at Woodside Crematorium on Thursday 10th February at 3.30pm.

Edith and I were best friends for over 50 years. It was always fun to be in her company or in contact with her. I shall miss her no-nonsense approach to events and people, and the genuine warmth of her friendship.
