Marguerite AnneBEARDIt is with deep sadness to announce Marguerite passed away at home on Thursday 21st December 2023, aged 87 years, the dearly loved wife of the late Ken. May they be reunited in eternal peace. A precious and dearly loved mother to Stanley and Philip, treasured mother in law to Sue and devoted grandmother to Kathryn and David. Marguerite will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. May her love of Stoke City Football club, dogs and her devotion to Cheadle Animal Welfare forever live on. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday 18th January 2024 at 12.15pm at St Peters' Church, Forsbrook, followed by a committal service Carmountside Crematorium. Mourners are kindly asked to meet at the service and are welcome to join the family for the committal. Mourners may however, disperse to wake venue, at Heath House Farm, Caverswall Old Road, Forsbrook, after the church service, and await the family's arrival. Family flowers only by request, any donations in loving memory of Marguerite will be gratefully received and passed onto the Cheadle and District Animal Welfare Society, a charity close to Marguerite's heart, where she remained treasurer for many years.
