DouglasBEARDSELLOn 16th October 2023, peacefully at his home in Holmfirth, Douglas aged 93 years. Former Master painter and decorator. The loving husband and best friend of the late Norah, beloved and devoted dad of Yvonne, Ivan and Carol, a very dear and respected father in law of Richard, Karen and Nick, a very proud grandad and great grandad, a good friend to all who knew him and faithful friend of 'Nellie'.

Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Holmfirth on Saturday 4th November at 11.30am followed by interment at Holmfirth Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be shared between Versus Arthritis and The Royal British Legion c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, 16 Westgate, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6AA or online at radcliffefuneralservice.co.uk - obituaries. A donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church.

So sorry to hear, belatedly, that Douglas had passed away. Such a lovely man and a true gentleman. We shall miss seeing him out with his dog. Our condolences to all his family. Julia & Pat Jones
